ContiRe
ContiRe hot retreading extends the service life of selected worn Continental truck tyre casings through the application of a new tread. Produced using tread designs and compound technologies aligned with those used in new tyre manufacturing, ContiRe tyres are retreaded exclusively on Continental casings from bead to bead, including the sidewall area. This process renews the sidewalls, and the tyres remain regroovable where applicable. By supporting multiple life stages for a tyre casing, ContiRe can help maximise casing value and contribute to a more resource-efficient tyre lifecycle.
The Bandvulc brand became part of the Continental group in 2016 and has a long-established presence in the UK commercial tyre retreading sector. The Bandvulc range includes products for a variety of commercial vehicle applications, including regional and long-haul transport, bus and coach operations, and on/off-road environments.
Like ContiRe tyres, Bandvulc hot retreaded tyres are produced using a bead-to-bead retreading process, which includes renewal of the tread and sidewall areas. This approach helps extend the service life of selected tyre casings while maintaining the casing as a valuable asset within the tyre lifecycle.
Bandvulc retreaded tyres are manufactured in accordance with established production processes and undergo inspection and quality control procedures throughout the retreading process.
