Engineered for Victory: Continental Tyres x England Rugby
Since 2023, Continental Tyres has proudly stood alongside the RFU as the Official Tyre & Safety Partner to England Men’s, the Red Roses, and title sponsor of the Continental Tyres Schools Cup. Our commitment? To deliver performance and safety at every level of the game – from grassroots to elite – while driving growth in women’s and girls’ rugby.
Inside Allianz Stadium, our branding takes center stage across perimeter screens, concourse displays, team arrivals, and the big screen. Beyond the stadium, over 1,000 stewards in Continental Tyres uniforms guide fans safely, including from our Continental Tyres Rosebine Car Park.
It’s all part of our “Engineered for Victory” mission – inspired by our AllSeasonContact 2 tyre, designed for premium performance no matter the conditions. Just like rugby, success demands reliability, adaptability, and excellence – qualities we champion on the road and on the pitch.
"We’re really pleased to announce Continental Tyres’ long-term partnership with the RFU. The Conti Schools Cup is an important part of the age-grade rugby competition landscape and support from Continental Tyres to enhance this over time is significant."

Driving the Next Generation from the Ground Up
Continental Tyres School's Cup
Since 2023, we have been proud to be the title sponsor of the Continental Tyres Schools Cup. This year's competition featured dramatic moments and fierce battles across various age groups. At Ealing Trailfinders, Plymouth College lifted their first-ever national trophy with a dominant 36-10 win over Wymondham College in the U15 Bowl. St Paul’s School triumphed 32-3 in the U15 Vase, showcasing some incredible team play.
Meanwhile, at the iconic Allianz Stadium, the U18 finals took centre stage. Hayes School claimed their first national title with a thrilling 51-26 win over The King’s School, Ely in the U18 Bowl. Harrow School secured back-to-back U18 Cup wins with a hard-fought 22-10 victory over Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Wakefield. Exeter College also came out on top in the ACE Girls League final, defeating Hartpury College 41-33, while King’s School, Gloucester triumphed in the U18 Vase with a 29-16 win over King Edward’s School Birmingham.
It was a day full of unforgettable moments, with The Good, The Bad & The Rugby’s Alex Payne and James Haskell hosting the key moments and Player of the Match trophies, adding their signature energy and insight to the event. Also as the presenting partner of the RFU’s Love Rugby U12s Girls Schools Festivals, we had girls from all over the country come to Allianz Stadium to showcase their skills - we remain committed to supporting the next generation of rugby talent.
We look forward to working with the RFU to grow this competition further in years to come.

Love Rugby
Across 2025, we partnered with the RFU on their Love Rugby programme, proudly sponsoring the U12 category and supporting 40 local festivals and seven regional showcases across the UK.
Our mission was to help more girls experience rugby for the first time - driving inclusion and inspiring the next generation. Together, we delivered nationwide impact, engaging over 4,600 U12 girls and surpassing participation targets.
This initiative is now recognised as a leading example of purpose-driven sponsorship, creating real change: increasing participation, developing young talent, strengthening grassroots clubs, and building a lasting legacy for the women’s game beyond this year’s big tournament.

Driving Grassroots Clubs Forward
Since 2024, we have partnered up with Kwik Fit and Volunteer It Yourself, in a bid to empower young girls and women to participate in rugby by eliminating barriers to their involvement. Our initiative focuses on promoting equality in sports and revitalising community spaces, specifically by renovating rugby clubs and boosting facilities for girls, whilst helping local young people to gain hands-on trade & employability skills.
In an earlier project at Anchorians RFC, our Brand Ambassador and World Rugby 15’s Player of the Year, Ellie Kildunne, who visited Anchorian’s Sport Club in Gillingham stated: “Projects like this will definitely accelerate girls and women getting involved in rugby,” she shared. Ellie recalled the early days of her rugby career getting changed in cars or behind towels. She emphasised that quality, private changing rooms, though seemingly a small step, make girls feel more included in their clubs. These modern facilities are crucial for nurturing the future of women’s rugby.
Working with Kwik Fit and VIY, we are committed to fostering inclusivity and breaking down barriers in sports. And it’s clear that the new facilities have already had a profound impact on the young athletes. “The girls were thrilled,” said Simon Somerset, Anchorian’s Youth & Mini’s Chairman. “Having Ellie here made the day even more special—they won’t forget it”.
Our partnership with Kwik Fit and VIY spotlights our continued support for Women’s Sport.
Our Marketing Director, Peter Robb added: “We are very proud to be part of this project, and we’re thrilled to have Kwik Fit and VIY alongside us. It’s fantastic to see how it’s already making a real difference and creating an inclusive environment where women and girls feel supported in pursuing rugby”.
By championing equity in sports, we hope to inspire future athletes by fostering inclusivity. These upgraded facilities remind us that meaningful change starts with commitment and community, one changing room at a time.
“Projects like this will definitely accelerate girls and women getting involved in rugby.”

When Rugby Meets the Road
Last year, we took rugby stars Ellie Kildunne and Danny Care to Mercedes-Benz World to take on some rugby themed driving challenges.

Our History in Sport
From our continued support of women’s football over the past 13 years, it’s fair to say we have always recognised the value of sport. From our uninterrupted role as title partner to The FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup starting back in 2011, to being the Official Tyre Partner to the England Senior Women’s Team, the growth of women’s football has been outstanding.
We are proud to say we supported the Lionesses during their World Cup journey back in 2019, all the way to their well-deserved win at the UEFA European Women’s Championship in 2022! Through our associated Grip the Nation campaign, we championed the message that sport is for everyone, whilst keeping safety and performance at the heart of everything we do.
In addition to our support of the senior women's division over the years, we had another goal in mind to get the younger generation involved in sport too. That’s why back in 2011-2015, we worked with the FA Girls’ Football Festivals to come up with Grassroots, a festival where 35,000 children in England got involved in various interactive games, in addition to playing mini matches and getting a chance to meet many WSL players. They also had the opportunity to see the official women’s football trophies for themselves - inspiring the next generation has always been important to us.
With all this experience under our belt, it felt natural to partner with the Rugby Football Union (RFU) on this value-driven partnership.
"We're really pleased to announce Continental Tyres' long-term partnership with the RFU. The Conti Schools Cup is an important part of the age-grade rugby competition landscape and support from Continental Tyres to enhance this over time is significant. In addition, they will work with us on our broader rugby activity in schools for both boys and girls."
