Engineered for Victory: Continental Tyres x England Rugby
Since 2023, Continental Tyres has proudly stood alongside the RFU as the Official Tyre & Safety Partner to England Men’s, the Red Roses, and title sponsor of the Continental Tyres Schools Cup. Our commitment? To deliver performance and safety at every level of the game – from grassroots to elite – while driving growth in women’s and girls’ rugby.
Inside Allianz Stadium, our branding takes center stage across perimeter screens, concourse displays, team arrivals, and the big screen. Beyond the stadium, over 1,000 stewards in Continental Tyres uniforms guide fans safely, including from our Continental Tyres Rosebine Car Park.
It’s all part of our “Engineered for Victory” mission – inspired by our AllSeasonContact 2 tyre, designed for premium performance no matter the conditions. Just like rugby, success demands reliability, adaptability, and excellence – qualities we champion on the road and on the pitch.

Driving the Next Generation from the Ground Up
Continental Tyres School's Cup
The 2025/26 Continental Tyres Schools Cup delivered another standout season of school rugby, filled with exceptional talent, competitive spirit, and unforgettable moments both on and off the pitch. Finals day at Allianz Stadium saw Northampton School for Boys lift the U18 Cup with a powerful 36–20 win over Epsom College, while Maidstone Grammar claimed the U18 Vase in dramatic fashion with a last‑kick 22–21 victory. Hartpury College also impressed, securing the ACE Girls title with a commanding 43–5 performance.
Along the way, we were joined by our good friends at The Good, The Bad & The Rugby podcast, bringing their trademark energy to the competition. One of the season’s standout moments saw James Haskell take Courtney Lawes back to his old school, Northampton School for Boys, ahead of the final - a visit that added extra inspiration before NSB went on to lift the trophy (you can watch this below!).
As proud supporters of England Rugby, we celebrate the players, coaches, schools, and communities who made the 2025/26 Schools Cup such an inspiring success. Learn more about the Schools Cup or explore England Rugby.

Continental Tyres x Love Rugby
Across 2025, we partnered with the RFU on their Love Rugby programme, proudly sponsoring the U12 category and supporting 40 local festivals and seven regional showcases across the UK.
Our mission was to help more girls experience rugby for the first time - driving inclusion and inspiring the next generation. Together, we delivered nationwide impact, engaging over 4,600 U12 girls and surpassing participation targets.
This initiative is now recognised as a leading example of purpose-driven sponsorship, creating real change: increasing participation, developing young talent, strengthening grassroots clubs, and building a lasting legacy for the women’s game beyond this year’s big tournament.

Why Girls Rugby Matters
The Good, the Bad & the Rugby Podcast
For the past three seasons, we’ve proudly served as the title sponsor of The Good, The Bad & The Rugby, hosted by broadcaster Alex Payne alongside England Rugby legends James Haskell and Mike Tindall. As the world’s biggest rugby podcast, new episodes drop every week — just search GOOD BAD RUGBY on your preferred streaming platform. And while you’re there, don’t miss our Continental Tyres Grip Strength challenge featured on the show.
You can also watch below as Alex and Hask go head‑to‑head in a series of high‑octane tyre challenges at our legendary Contidrom Testing Facility. Who do you think comes out on top?
During their visit, we welcomed the pair to our iconic Contidrom proving ground, taking our partnership with The Good, The Bad & The Rugby to the next level. From wet handling and wet braking to a full‑throttle drift challenge, they pushed our premium tyres to their limits — experiencing first‑hand how tread depth affects safety, control, and overall performance.
Driving Grassroots Clubs Forward
Since 2024, we have partnered up with Kwik Fit and Volunteer It Yourself, in a bid to empower young girls and women to participate in rugby by eliminating barriers to their involvement. Our initiative focuses on promoting equality in sports and revitalising community spaces, specifically by renovating rugby clubs and boosting facilities for girls, whilst helping local young people to gain hands-on trade & employability skills.
In an earlier project at Anchorians RFC, our Brand Ambassador and World Rugby 15’s Player of the Year, Ellie Kildunne, who visited Anchorian’s Sport Club in Gillingham stated: “Projects like this will definitely accelerate girls and women getting involved in rugby,” she shared. Ellie recalled the early days of her rugby career getting changed in cars or behind towels. She emphasised that quality, private changing rooms, though seemingly a small step, make girls feel more included in their clubs. These modern facilities are crucial for nurturing the future of women’s rugby.
Working with Kwik Fit and VIY, we are committed to fostering inclusivity and breaking down barriers in sports. And it’s clear that the new facilities have already had a profound impact on the young athletes. “The girls were thrilled,” said Simon Somerset, Anchorian’s Youth & Mini’s Chairman. “Having Ellie here made the day even more special—they won’t forget it”.
Our partnership with Kwik Fit and VIY spotlights our continued support for Women’s Sport.
Our Marketing Director, Peter Robb added: “We are very proud to be part of this project, and we’re thrilled to have Kwik Fit and VIY alongside us. It’s fantastic to see how it’s already making a real difference and creating an inclusive environment where women and girls feel supported in pursuing rugby”.
By championing equity in sports, we hope to inspire future athletes by fostering inclusivity. These upgraded facilities remind us that meaningful change starts with commitment and community, one changing room at a time.
“Projects like this will definitely accelerate girls and women getting involved in rugby.”
