Thunder Run is held at Catton Park, a stunning private estate on the Derbyshire/Staffordshire border. The undulating land and mix of woodland, open pasture & stone tracks all contribute to a great race route, topped off with some awesome views when you are at the high points.

To avoid an extremely narrow bridge at Walton on Trent everyone should approach from the A38 between Lichfield and Burton-on-Trent. Leave the A38 taking the A513 signed for Tamworth and Alrewas. Head towards Tamworth on the A513, after approx. 1.5 miles you will go under a railway bridge. Take the left turn immediately after the bridge. The event arena will be on the right-hand side after about 1 mile.
There’s always more to Thunder Run than just the 24hr race. Here’s some of the highlights & as always everything is free to get involved with.
