Celebrating our successful partnerships over the years
Over the past 12 years, not only have we been apart of the FA Women's Continental Tyres League Cup, we have also supported The Barclays FA Women’s Super League, The Lionesses, The FA's Girls Football Festival, as well as St. George's Park.
Take a look back with us at all these amazing milestones.
The FA Women's Continental Tyres League Cup
Since 2011, we have continued our uninterrupted role as title partner to The FA Women's Continental Tyres League Cup since the inaugural competition commenced 12 years ago.
Since then, we have seen 24 teams battle it out every year for the trophy, with Arsenal becoming six-time champions over Chelsea in this year's FA Women's Continental Tyres League Cup Final! Take a look at some highlights of the final below.

The growth of women’s football over the last ten years has been outstanding and the fact that Continental Tyres have been with us on that decade long journey is testament to their commitment to our game.
I’d like to thank them for their ongoing support of our League Cup and for recognising the value of women’s football from those early days of our domestic competitions in 2011.
Marzena Bogdanowicz , The FA’s Head of Women’s Marketing and Commercial
Gripping the Nation with the Lionesses
As the previous Official Tyre Partner to the England Senior Women’s Team, we were proud to have supported the Lionesses throughout their journey from the FIFA Women's World Cup™ in France 2019 to their well-deserved win at the UEFA European Women's Championship in 2022!
It's fair to say the Lionesses caught everyone's attention last Summer, that's why we got behind them with our Grip the Nation campaign - Take a look below to see how they got on with our tyre challenges.
Supporting the Barclay's FA Women's Super League
Since its founding in 2011, we have been a leading supporter of women's football in England.
Originally comprising just eight teams, we are proud to have contributed to the increased popularity of the women's game, and the expansion of the FA WSL to eleven teams, and promotion/relegation from/to WSL2.
As a partner of The FA, we have been able to reach a broad and growing demographic, with a fan base and participation levels continuing to increase all the time. Through our support of the game at every level, we are able to communicate with customers through a national programme with genuine local relevance and make a real and measurable difference to the progression of the sport.
We are delighted to have Continental Tyres continue their association with the women’s game. Their support to date has made a huge difference at grassroots level through The FA Girls’ Football Festivals, as well as raising the profile of The FA WSL.

Our past work with the FA Girls' Football Festivals
Grassroots football is vital for encouraging the expansion of the women's game.
Between 2011 and 2015, we supported the FA Girls’ Football Festivals programme, leading to the participation of over 35,000 children in England. The festivals offered the chance to engage with interactive games, like target shoot, speed cage, quick feet, batak board, as well as playing in mini matches, experiencing ContiWarmUp, many WSL player appearances, referee sessions, and an interactive trailer featuring the trophies of women’s football in England.

St. George's Park - The home of English football
We know how important it is to have the best foundations to ensure you can perform at your best.
That’s why we have teamed up with St. George’s Park, the training and preparation ground for all of the 24 England national football teams, to ensure the teams have everything they need.
Facilities comprise 14 football pitches, including a full size indoor 3G pitch, and an exact replica of the Wembley pitch. Furthermore, there are state of the art rehabilitation and sports science areas, and an indoor Futsal sports hall.
Just like our legendary Contidrom track at our HQ in Hanover, Germany, only the best will do. We've taken tyre testing to a new level. Through a fully automated process in the Contidrom hall, an unmanned test vehicle accelerates up to speeds of 75 mph (120 km/h) and then brakes on interchangeable, hydraulically powered road surfaces.
And just like the facilities at St. George's Park, tests can be conducted all year round. At Contidrom, tests are conducted on both wet and dry road surfaces, and in a separate ice lane to check the performance of winter tyres and all-season tyres.
We know from experience that continued testing and training ultimately allows you - and us - to be the best.
