ContiThunderRun 24Hr is the original 24hr trail running race.
Whether you run solo or in a relay team of 2-8, it’ll test your tactics, endurance, speed and teamwork.
ContiThunderRun 24Hr is back at Catton Park, Derbyshire, over the weekend of 22nd-24th July 2022. Thousands of ardent runners will be taking on the challenge of our technical 10km course, contending with running through the night, staying on top of their nutrition, and working with their teammates to see how many laps they can complete within 24hrs. With relay teams of up to 8, through to solo runners taking on the task on their own, ContiThunderRun 24Hr is a challenge that offers something to a great many runners from all sorts of backgrounds and every level of experience.
ContiThunderRun 24Hr is an inclusive challenge, with an incredibly supportive atmosphere made all the more special with a full programme of additional activities & entertainments plus the most amazing campsite camaraderie. It is this mix of great trail running and the incredible family festival atmosphere that makes TR24 a ‘must do’ event for the summer.

Entries for the 13th edition of ContiThunderRun 24Hr will go live at 11am on 29th October 2021.
Entry fees:
- Solo runner £95.00 (includes admission for one non-runner)
- Team runners £72.00 per runner (teams of 2-8)
- ThunderRun 10K £18.00
- Non-runner weekend entry/camping fee £12.00
- Under 18s FREE

Entries have been known to sell out fast, so it pays to be prepared with your team’s details. The information you will need to complete your entry are:

COVID-19 mitigation planning
Whilst the situation is so much better than it has been, Covid-19 hasn’t gone away. Your safety at ContiThunderRun 24Hr is our top priority, as such we will be keeping a close eye on the situation and will bring in suitable measures as part of our risk assessment. Any additional measures and protocols that are required will be confirmed to ticket holders ahead of the event.

Tyre soles made of tyre technology - innovation and tradition
Cooperation between oursleves and adidas started in 2007. adidas were working on a project to increase the grip of their shoes. In the search for a competent partner from the rubber industry, we were quickly identified as the partner of choice. "Initial test samples confirmed our assessment that we can make improvements to previous soles," recalls our Fabian Dettmer.
Soles for marathon shoes, running shoes, outdoor shoes and hiking boots - with our tyre technology - have been part of the adidas repertoire since the cooperation.
2021 ContiThunderRun 24Hr
